library projects

With a lifelong love of libraries that began at age 5, and having worked previously in various capacities in educational and academic libraries, I possess an interest in how libraries have an important role in the creative process, as well as how they help form and sustain creative communities. Below are some of the initiatives and projects I have worked on in this arena:

Co-founded with Jennifer Sauzer and In residence at Columbia College Chicago from 2014-2022, the Aesthetics of Research was an initiative designed to explore the connection between resources and artists, as well as the role libraries play in forming and sustaining creative communities.  Programming included semesterly arts focus topics, exhibits, artist panels, workshops, resource sharing, and more.
